Amy: Hooray! And what a great reunion! Camilla, Jeremiah, Carolyn and I are on the committee to plan the next one. Anyone else is welcome to join. Mom and Alan already scheduled a tentative date at the YMCA of the Rockies, but we can do it elsewhere and at another time if we pick a place within 2 years. Love you all and can't wait to see the next skits.

Susan Lindsay: Hey everyone. Yes the reunion was wonderful. I felt so relaxed coming home. I have been on the phone to the North Carolina YMCA and the Ozarks YMCA IN MISSOURI. The Missouri YMCA sounds wonderful. It is 90 min. south of St. Louis and is on a lake, where swimming and boating is part of the package. There is an archery AND rifle range, also part of the package and it is less expensive than the North Carolina one. I am getting brochures and have tentatively held the NC one for the time around August 15-19. We may want to go earlier so that Targe and Barbara can come.Right now both places are wide open. Any thoughts? I would like to join the committee.

Sue Taylor: I second, third, fourth, etc, all the comments about the reunion! I could
not reserve a spot at the "Y" the day we left because the sales office was
not open. My intention was to call on Monday for a back-up place, but that
doesn't sound necessary now because of all the excellent work that's being
done on this. It was clear that we were ready for somewhere else and now we
have lots of options. Is everyone comfortable with not reserving Estes Park
again?

Curt: I like the sound of the Ozarks site. I went to that area once on a
field trip for a course I took on my master's program, and it really is
beautiful. I love that Rockies site we've been going to, especially
the very high country hiking, but that altitude does a lot of our
people in. A "middling high" country setting (still mountainous after
a fashion, but at a lower altitude) would be better for them. I didn't
realize the trip from St. Louis to that site was only an hour and a
half. It's almost two hours from Denver to the Rockies site, so we
make out better on that, too. I'm going to cast my vote for the
Ozarks.

Aunt Marian: Alan and Erika got home last night from S. Carolina. They took Eva to Bob Jones U. He was here a little while ago and we looked on the map to where the next reunion might be in the Ozarks--not sure, but it would be a lot closer for all of us in Michigan. Alan thought it might be only about 600 miles--could make it in a long day of driving.

Uncle Targe and Aunt Jo: Re: YMCA Trout Lodge of the Ozarks.
We had friends who attended an Elderhostel here and sent us a card.
At the time I thought, hot midwest in August, but after the elevation
got to so many, Missouri looks better, maybe even cooler! There is a lot of
info on Google if anyone wants to be checking it out. Of course, this is
probably not a new idea but I wasn't sure they had the right name to find
it.

I'm so glad Erica painted that beautiful tile with Lindsay Reunion 2006 on
the bottom of it for the wall in Estes Park. That may be our "last hurrah"
for Colorado.
